Here you will find songs that I write and sing and songs that I don't write and still sing. There are also collaborations with friends and some pictures.

—Keep the Teeth and I's on Ice

Okay, so, point of order: all of the Tandem Psyche collaborations I shared have slyly avoided acknowledging a fundamental flaw in their genesis (actually I might have mentioned this before, but I don’t have time to go through like a HUNDRED pages of archives to find out).

They’re all recorded over Efraim’s backing tracks, but those tracks disclude Ben Korman’s awesome drumming, which really brings the sound all together. I try to shout my lyrics over their songs during shows, but the songs are not attuned to the actual beat of the song and sound terrible.

…OR DO THEY? The following is a recording of a live performance, with one of my songs re-arranged to fit it accordingly. You’ve heard a couple versions of this one, and they’re only getting better! (Except that the first one might have been the best.)

Keep the Teeth and Eyes on Ice

Degenerate biotics taking lasers
to spoonfuls of narcotics,
and running purple haze and razorblades
to all the young punk blooded renegades
whose rage at the pain
can be but contained
by getting wasted with
what intoxication remains
and what could beat the metal
and the meat might be out in the street
might get knifed by a creep
but that’s what you get with
the cyber hybrid of the sweet life.

In the
them-that-were-once-men
marketplace
You can sell a clean face
at a half decent rate.
But put the teeth and eyes
on ice
just put the teeth and eyes
on ice
yeah put the teeth and eyes alright
and I’ll be coming home tonight

coming home now to New Junk City
to the derelicts and drug addicts
I fear avoid and pity
And it’s only you I ever cared about
out of millions in this city
that should make you feel proud

if you still feel, that is,
if you’re still interested
then keep the teeth and eyes
on ice alright
and I’ll be coming home tonight

A light went out
another downed automaton’s
fuse burned proud
another motherboard underground
stand down
stand down
