To Be in the Light
The woods by mooncast tree shadow are not barren or stagnent but wracked with action; owl, the killer, fox on prowl and moth in flight, willing to die, just to be near the light.
And I, of cloth, and flesh, am prone to the call of death; by intention, or infection, or as means of redemption, but only on my own (but only on my own, but only on my only on my only on my)
I wanna move out of the garbage, I wanna peel off the sticked on banana skins and clotted bandaids and liberate myself from the filth. But, the change I truly want to make is within; I want to be percieved as a well rounded and beautiful person internally, do I not? I want to be developed intricately, like a wood carving, or a spiderweb. But I want to have so many more dimensions, and textures, I want to reflect, to emboss, to provide friction.
But there are certain ways I want to be percieved, and certain ways I want to be me.
I want to be indeterminable and yet friendly and approachable I people to recognize my goodness while remaining assured of my darkness, I have darkness within me and I fully embrace it in the absence of light (but- but- but- we always want to walk in the light).
